Gouda, July 11 2024 - The annual figures for 2023 reflect the upward trend in which Centric finds itself. Centric achieved a profit of € 3.4 million compared to a loss of € 3.4 million in 2022. The revenue remained nearly unchanged at € 425 million. With a solvency of 62 percent, Centric is financially stable, with good liquidity and no external debt on the balance sheet.
Built on foundation
In 2023, calm had returned to the organization, and we laid several important foundations for the future of Centric. “This year, we were able to fully focus on our services, with a strong emphasis on customer orientation. You can see this reflected in the rising customer satisfaction scores,” says Peter Wakkie, CEO of Centric. “Additionally, we streamlined our portfolio, including the sale of the business unit HR & Payroll Solutions. This unit did not align sufficiently with our core activities, and we aim to further concentrate on markets where we play a leading role in the digital transformation of organizations. To better support our clients, we migrated our data centers to the advanced Equinix data center in Amsterdam during 2023. This transition was completed successfully. Furthermore, we took a long-term view toward the future in 2023, laying a potential foundation for a strategy up to 2030. This positions us well for the future sale of the organization.”

It is important for Centric to find a suitable new owner. This way, we can ensure long-term continuity for employees, customers, and partners. Peter Wakkie: “The sales process is currently in full swing, and there is significant interest from various parties. We are confident that we will find a suitable buyer for Centric and expect to conclude the sales process during this summer period.”
