Gouda, April 1, 2025 – As of April 1, Rob van der Salm has taken on the role of Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO). With a strong track record in technological innovation and product development, he will play a key role in strengthening Centric’s position as a leading IT partner.
Van der Salm brings extensive international experience in managing software companies across various industries. In recent years, he was responsible for the acquisition and strategic development of technology companies in several European countries. His background combines technological and business expertise with a strong focus on product development and customer-oriented service.
This appointment aligns with the recent simplification of Centric’s organizational structure. The new structure is designed to better respond to the needs of our customers and to operate more efficiently and with greater customer focus.
Our activities are now more logically and simply organized by sector, resulting in increased focus, efficiency, and entrepreneurship. With our extensive portfolio of software products, we serve both the municipal and public sector, as well as the retail and logistics industries. In addition, we offer a strong service concept that includes cloud solutions, application management, a secure and future-proof working environment, and staffing services - available both independently and in combination with our software products.
Within the new structure, the CPTO role is aimed at better connecting technological development, product offerings, and services. The position contributes to the further development of Centric’s portfolio and technological direction for the coming years.
