At Centric, we continuously strive to improve our products and services. To underline this commitment, Centric holds several ISO certifications. On this page, you can read more about these certifications.
ISO Certifications
Centric holds several ISO certifications, namely ISO 27001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001. An ISO certificate is issued by a certification body after an audit has been conducted.
Applying the international standards used during certification ensures that a product, service, or organization is assessed on the same basis everywhere. This creates confidence in the comparability of certificates, tests, and reports.
To safeguard the usability and reliability of the ISO management system, the certification body assesses the specific activities. Certification means that an independent statement is issued regarding the management system of the organization being assessed.
With the certificate, the organization can demonstrate to its clients its expertise in relation to its products and services.
Differences Between an ISO Certificate and an ISAE 3000/3402 Assurance Report
An ISO certificate is not the same as an assurance report. The most important differences and application areas are:
ISO Certificate:
- Assessment of the requirements set for the management system and a defined set of measures (ISO).
- Depth of assessment focuses on design and existence (the management system and controls are implemented).
- Certificate is valid for a period of 3 years and is forward‑looking.
- Assessment performed by an accredited certification body.
Assurance Report:
- Assessment of a self‑created control framework, prepared in consultation with the client(s) consuming the specific services, containing control measures tailored specifically for Centric and its customers.
- Depth of assessment focuses on existence and operating effectiveness (controls are implemented and work throughout the entire period).
- The report covers a specific period of at least 6 months in the past.
- Assessment performed by a qualified external auditor (RA or RE).
