Centric strengthens its cybersecurity position with the arrival of Aart Jochem as new CISO

As of January 1, 2026, Aart Jochem will join Centric as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With his extensive experience within the Dutch central government and the cybersecurity domain, he will play an important role in further shaping Centric’s ambition to support customers with secure, reliable, and future-proof IT solutions. He will also contribute to Centric’s strategy in the field of digital sovereignty.

In recent years, Aart Jochem served as CISO for the Dutch central government and Deputy CIO for the central government at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. There, he was responsible for government-wide coordination of information security, digital resilience, and autonomy. He previously worked at GOVCERT, the National Cyber Security Centre, and pension provider PGGM. With more than 25 years of experience in information security, he brings in-depth knowledge of digital security issues in both public and private environments.
