Gouda, October 17, 2024 – Hans van Waayenburg has been appointed as the new CEO of Centric. Van Waayenburg is an experienced leader in the IT and technology sector. He previously served as the head of Capgemini Netherlands and as the global CEO of Sogeti. With his extensive experience and expertise, he is the ideal candidate to transform and strengthen Centric's foundation and to fully seize future growth opportunities.
This appointment follows Centric's recent acquisition by a consortium of Dutch IT entrepreneurs led by Imker Capital Partners. The consortium sees Hans van Waayenburg as the right leader to guide Centric through the next phase of growth and development.
Centric’s new shareholders, the consortium of Dutch IT entrepreneurs led by Imker Capital Partners, extend their thanks to Bas de Reus, who initially served as the right hand of Peter Wakkie and later fulfilled the role of interim CEO with excellence. His leadership brought calm and stability, providing Centric the space to move into the next phase. Bas will remain onboard for the time being to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
